Current Available Positions

 

Less is More® is looking to hire Organizing Assistants for our Miami market. An Organizing Assistant will work side-by-side with a Master Organizer or Lead Organizers to help clients transform their cluttered homes into beautiful, organized spaces that work. The ideal candidate is a highly-organized, detail-oriented, team player who is not afraid to work hard if it means making a difference in someone’s life. This is a perfect position for someone who wants to supplement their income by doing something they are passionate about.

Status: Independent Contractor, Part-Time

Hours: As needed, up to 3 days per week. Typically client sessions are held 10am to 4pm, Tuesday thru Friday.

Starting hourly rate: $25

Area: Miami-Dade County only

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Training with a Master Organizer will be provided

Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Providing hands-on assistance to senior team members throughout a client session using methods and techniques developed by Less is More®; Sorting items and assisting clients make decisions; Maintaining the tidiness of a work area; Implementing organizing systems; Researching and recommending appropriate organizing products, services and tools, as needed; Dropping off donations at the end of each client session

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

Organizing requires mental and physical stamina. The Organizing Assistant will need to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb stairs, and use a step stool or small ladder. Working in many different households requires the ability to tolerate typical household odors from pets, smoke or fragrances, and work around children or pets.

Project locations and work hours will vary depending on the project. We only serve Miami-Dade County.

Must have: access to the internet, a computer, a printer, a car, and a cell phone with voice mail

Experience

 

Bachelor’s degree or higher; experience in customer service or working in an office environment are helpful.

Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to manage time well and follow detailed instructions

A desire to learn
Has patience, is open-minded and non-judgmental. Team members are expected to be empathetic and emotionally tolerant of clients who may be anxious about the organizing process

Has a sophisticated eye for design, beauty, and aesthetics

Computer savvy

English fluency
